Oriental Arts Center consists of; one 5 Star Hyatt hotel tower, one Grade A office tower and one concert hall. The hotel and office buildings are twin buildings that are mirrored in plan. The facade is mainly composed of unitized curtain wall system incorporating stainless steel horizontal fins in the spandrel areas. The highlight of the building is the twin 35 meter high glass walls constructed of single cable tension system. This glass wall is one of only 20 projects in the world to use this state of the art design. The large glass walls make the entrance atriums in both buildings very transparent and give the feeling of being outdoors. The concert hall facades consist of curtain wall and metal panels. The extrusions and panels have been finished in copper paint and also incorporate vertical louvers in copper finish. The concert hall, with its shining copper finish, shines like a jewel between the twin towers as one enters the complex.
The developer is Hopson Properties, one of the most well respected developers in Asia and know internationally for there landmark developments. KWP was contracted directly by the Developer to ensure a grade A achievement for all the facades in their Oriental Arts Center Complex.
