Global Finance Tower is situated in a prominent location within the Lu Jia Zui commercial district of Pudong. The tower is situated visibly between the Citibank Plaza and Jin Mao Tower and is a prominent icon of the Pudong skyline.  The 40 storeys, 180 meters tower comprises floor to ceiling glass curtain wall.  The building consists of grade A office space and a retail podium.  Special details are incorporated into the curtain wall such as; 1 meter vertical glass fins, stainless steel capping and colored glass spandrels. The tower out performs the strict energy codes of Shanghai utilizing high performance glass, louvers, sunshades, ceramic frit glass fins and solar collectors at roof level. The podium features a 25-meter glass wall supported by an elegant bow truss system.

KWP was commissioned by the Architect in the design development and tender documentation stage to provide expert consultation on this very unique facade.  KWP is also the consultant to the Owner from tender interview stage through construction.
